Murals are executed usually with less detail than fine art and intended to be viewed from a distance. Paints used for murals need to be taken into consideration for the location and audience. For instance, particular paints and preparations need to be addressed for bathrooms, kitchens, children's rooms, outdoors, restaurants, gyms etc. that would not need to be considered for fine art.

  1. Upper left is "Capitol Eagle", chalk art on sidewalk for the State Capital Museum during the 2008 Lake Fair parade in Olympia.
  2. Upper right is "Mermaid, Dolphin and Seashells" for the bathroom for private residence, lifesize, completed in oils.
  3. Lower left is "Crazy Fish" for bathroom for private residence, lifesize, completed in latex interior house paint and acrylic.
  4. Lower right is, "Caribbean Holiday" for family room for private residence, ceiling and all four walls, lifesize, completed in latex interior house paint and acrylic. Several months later I added additional birds, sea turtles and dolpins that are not shown here.
